On January 9, 2020, PNP AKG CHIEF PIO, PLTCOL JOWEL N SALIBA, presented the arrested wanted person, JEREMY G GUIAB, by virtue of warrant of arrest for Print media.
Rescue operation was immediately conducted by this group for the safe rescue of alleged Chinese kidnapped victim Chen Liyong. At about 3:20PM of December 29, 2019 elements of this Group led by PLTCOL LEO CANUEL under the direct supervision of PLTCOL VILLAFLOR BANNAWAGANproceeded at 18thflr. Rm 1811, Circuit Center Bldg, Theater Drive, Brgy Carmona, Makati City as the place of incident. There and then AKG personnel were able to rescue the victim.
During the rescue operation, the team arrested a Filipino, Security Guard Sergio M. Busego Jr., who was then closely guarding the victim inside the room. Follow up operation was conducted at Ayala Circuit Bldg, BPO 1, 12thflr., K room, Yong Cheng Premier Corporation which resulted to the arrest of Yang Zhen @ Zhen. The arrested suspects were informed about the cause of their arrest. Their rights under Philippine Law, were explained to them, and they were brought to this Group for proper disposition.

PNP AKG ARRESTED WANTED PERSON IN PRRD LIST
The PNP AKG launches manhunt operation against wanted person and intensifying its campaign against all Kidnappers with warrant of arrest. Under the supervision of the Director of AKG Police Brigadier General JONNEL C ESTOMO. On December 11, 2019 at about 5:30m, combined elements of Anti-Kidnapping Group, Visayas Field Unit (VFU), Regional Intelligence Division (RID) 6 Iloilo City Police Station 1, Provincial Intelligence Branch, South Cotabato, Police Provincial Office and Tantangan Municipal Police Station, South Cotabato, arrested one (1) most wanted person identified as;
- ANWAR MACADATU, male, 36 years old, married, native of Purok 1, Brgy San Felipe, Tantangan, South Cotabato and a temporarily residing at BrgyCaingin, Lapaz, Iloilo City while at Plaza Libertad, Brgy Zamora, City Proper, Iloilo City.
The service of Warrant of arrest to ANWAR MACADATU dated December 22, 2014, was issued by by Honorable Roberto L Atco, Presiding Judge, Br 26, Hall of Justice, Surallah, South Cotabato for the crime of Violation of Section 11, ART II of R.A. 9165 with Two Hundred Thousand pesos (Php. 200,000.00) bail recommended and Violation of Section 28(b) of R.A. 10591 NO BAIL was recommended under Criminal Case Nr. 6904-TN and 6905-TN defined and penalized under the Revised Penal Code, as amended.
Subject Wanted Person is known to be a High Value Target (HVT) Level 1PRRD’s List. He was also the subject of drug operation at Prk 1, Brgy San Felipe, Tantangan, South Cotabato sometime on September 2014, wherein during the implementation of SWs No. 14-94 for Violation of RA 9165 and RA 10591 by combined elements of SCPPO PIB, PAIDSOTG and TANTANGAN MPS, a shootout ensued between him and the operating troops hitting one of the PNP personnel at upper portion of his thigh, while subject managed to elude arrest.
PNP AKG RESCUES ONE CHINESE KIDNAP VICTIM AND ARRESTED TWO CHINESE NATIONAL SUSPECTS
The PNP – AKG rescues a Chinese National WANG HONG, @ Lee, 29 yrs. old, married, tourist, native of Chongqing China and a resident of Strata Gold Condo, Ongpin Binondo, Manila upon the report of Lin Wei of legal age, Chinese national and a resident of the same address.
In the sworn statement of the victim, it revealed that on December 4, 2019 he went to Solaire Resort and Casino and gamble thereat. When he lose all his money, a group of Chinese men offered and he accepted the One Million Pesos (P 1,000,000.00) loan. He gambled but he lose again. In the same day he paid the One Million Pesos (P 1,000,000.00) loan thru WECHAT.
The Chinese nationals lend him another One Million Pesos (P 1,000,000.00) to play. Every time he wins, they get the Fifteen percent (15%) commission until he loses all his money. The Chinese men took the key of the car that he borrowed from his friend (Honda Accord) and the two Chinese men boarded him inside a taxi and told him that they will look for a hotel.
According to the victim, they went to Okada Hotel and Casino and while inside a room, they forced him to make a letter stating therein that he barrowed to them Two Million Pesos (P 2,000,000.00) and forced him to sign the same. On December 8, 2019 at about 2:00 PM, they rode again a taxi and he managed to send message to his friend that they checked-in at room 505 Baymont Hotel, Paranaque City. While inside, the kidnapper instructed him to asked money from his family or friends for him to pay the Two Million Pesos (P 2,000,000.00) because if not they will kill him and be thrown at cemetery.
Acting on the information, PNP AKG operatives immediately proceeded at the area together with the complainant and coordinated with the Security Agency of said establishment, and then proceeded at the said room, that led to the safe rescue of the victim and arrest of two suspects Identified as:
- WAN RENHONG, 32 yrs. old, separated, Chinese national, tourist, native of Qingshanhu Dist., Nanchang City, Jiangxi East Industrial Park, Shiqiao Village Wancunzi No. 33 Rancun and resident of No. 505 Baymont Hotel, Pasay City.
- WAN LIANG, 36 yrs. old, married, Chinese national, tourist, native of Jiangxi China and a resident of No. 505 Baymont Hotel, Paranaque City
On December 11, 2019, inquest proceeding was conducted to the two suspects at DOJ for the Kidnapping for Ransom with Serious Illegal Detention (Art 267).
PNP AKG RESCUES TU CHI-PING TAIWANESE NATIONAL
The PNP – AKG rescues a Taiwanese National TU CHI-PING, male, 34 years old, working as online POGO Employee, temporarily residing at 2nd floor room 42-5, Tirad Pass St., San Pedro, Laguna and a native Jia Yi, Taiwan upon the report Jerry Wang of Taiwanese Embassy.
In the sworn statement of the victim, it revealed that on November 17, 2019, he arrived in the Philippines and the following day, he started to worked as online gaming casino employee with a salary amounting to Six Thousand RMB (¥6,000.00), he worked for eleven (11) days and decided to resign from his work because Mr. Huang Yi Hsien, recruiter of the unknown On-Line Gaming Company in Taiwan did not follow their agreement regarding the payment of his debt in Taiwan.
On December 3, 2019, the Supervisor (@Ahan) of the unknown On-Line Gaming Company in the Philippines, instructed him not to go outside and just stay inside the house because there are many bad guys, but if he really want to go back to Taiwan, he need to pay first the Company the amount of Ten Thousand RMB (¥10,000.00) as a processing fee when he went in the Philippines. The Company holds his Passport since he arrived until this date.
On December 11, 2019 at about 11:00AM, he called Jerry Wang of Taiwan Embassy and asked help that he was illegally detained at the 2nd floor of No. 42 Tirad Pass St., San Pedro, Laguna by the Company Supervisors since November 17, 2019 for unknown reasons. Jerry Wang of Taiwan Embassy then informed, Director of Anti-Kidnapping Group.
Acting on the information, PNP AKG operatives immediately proceeded at the area and coordinated with the Security Agency of said establishment at about 7:30PM of same date and led to the safe rescue of the victim and brought him at PNP AKG Camp Crame, Quezon City.
On December 12, 2019, Mr. Tu Chi-Ping, voluntarily decided not to pursue any case in court and executed an Affidavit of Non-Filing of Case considering that he has no time to litigate and decided to go back to Taiwan to live peacefully with his family.
The allegedly detained victim was released from this group based on instructions of Mr Jerry Wang of Taiwan Embassy in good physical condition.
2 Chinese ‘kidnap victims’ rescued
MANILA, Philippines — Two Chinese who claimed they were detained by their captors at a police station in Muntinlupa City were rescued in Las Piñas, police said yesterday.
Mao Lina, 19, and Zhu Yong Jun, 20, both workers of an online gaming firm in Muntinlupa, were rescued at a house in Barangay Almanza Dos last Friday, AKG director Brig. Gen. Jonnel Estomo said.
Estomo said policemen launched the operation based on a tip from another kidnapped Chinese, who was reportedly released after paying ransom.
Arrested during the operation was Saturnino Matias, 37, who kept guard on the victims.
The victims told probers they were kidnapped in Makati on Nov. 26 by Michael Chan and two Filipinos claiming to be policemen.
Chan and his cohorts allegedly seized the victims whom he accused of stealing P1.2 million from their company.
The suspects then brought the victims to a police station in Barangay Alabang where they stayed for over 21 hours before they were taken to Las Piñas the following day.
Authorities said they were checking if the victims were detained at the Muntinlupa police station.

Ayon kay PNP AKG Spokesperson Police Lt. Col. Joel Saliba, sa kabila na wala pang pormal na reklamong natatanggap mula sa pamilya ng biktima, gagawa sila ng sariling imbestigasyon sa kaso.
Magde-deploy aniya sila ng team para tumulong sa Makati Police upang masagip ang biktima.
Una nang nag-viral sa social media ang video ng kidnapping incident sa Paseo de Roxas cor. Perea St. sa Makati City kagabi.
Makikita sa video ang sapilitang pagsakay ng isang babaeng Chinese sa kanang pintuan ng isang grey-colored van.
Walang magawa ang babae kundi magsisigaw at pinaharurot ang sasakyan nang nakabukas ang pintuan habang alanganin ang kanyang posisyon.
Kaugnay nito, sinabi naman ni Makati City police chief Col. Rogelio Simon, posibleng utang dahil sa online gaming o kaya ay pagnanakaw ang motibo sa insidente.
May follow-up operations na ang pulisya para mahanap ang mga suspek.
Fil-Chinese transgender held by PNP-AKG for kidnapping
AGENTS of the Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group (PNP-AKG) on Saturday arrested a Filipino-Chinese transgender accused of conniving with a group of Chinese nationals to kidnap one of their compatriots during an entrapment operation in front of a 5-star hotel in Pasay City, officials announced yesterday.
PNP-AKG Officer-in-Charge, Colonel Jose Molave H. Dueñas identified the suspect as Dainelle Qua Lim, a 25-year-old resident of Unit 1607 Brio Tower in Makati City.
Still being hunted are Leng Yang and Lan Weiqiang, both residents of 1608 Brio Tower and Chen Huang Sheng, of Filinvest Subdivision in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
The official said that the four have been charged with kidnapping-for-ransom with serious illegal detention and robbery-extortion before the Department of Justice last Sunday.
According to PNP-AKG spokesman, Lieutenant Col. Jowel N. Saliba, recovered from Qua Lim’s possession during the sting were a tote bag containing an Iphone, five assorted passbooks, two personal checking account, assorted keys, P1,600 in cash and several personal belongings as well as a brown enveloped containing P20,000 in marked bills.
The entrapment operation was launched by the PNP-AKG in front of the Sofitel Hotel hours after a complainant identified as Lifei Xiong,23, a native of Hubei, China working at the Northgate Cyber Zone, Studio 2, Filinvest, Alabang went to Camp Crame to file a complaint regarding her alleged abduction.
In her complaint, the woman claimed she was abducted around 11:30 p.m. last October 20 just outside their office by four male Chinese who were armed with guns and knives.
The woman claimed she was dragged into a small vehicle by the suspects who forced her to call her family and ask for P1.150 million. The complainant said the money was sent thru the ally-pay account of Lan Weiqiang.
Shortly after the money was deposited, the woman said she was released unharmed near their office.
However, she also complained that around 4:30 p.m. last November 2, she again received a message thru we-chat from her previous abductors who demanded another 10,000 RMB from her or she will be killed if the demand is rejected.
8 Chinese arrested for kidnapping fellow citizens
EIGHT Chinese men were arrested in separate operations over the weekend for the kidnapping of their fellow citizens.
A Filipino national was also arrested along with the Chinese suspects on November 23, said Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Joel Saliba.
He identified those arrested in San Pedro, Laguna on November 23 as Chen Kai En, Wang Jian Xiong, Mei Lin and Ariel Carmona. Their cohorts, Jack Chan and Ruohuang Chen, were arrested the next days in Cabuyao, Laguna.
Their arrest stemmed from a report that the group was keeping two Chinese nationals who were working in a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (Pogo) establishment.
Saliba said the two victims, identified as Li Fei Yu and Long Yong Lin, arrived in the country on November 13 to work as computer technicians in a company owned by Chan.
Cops rescue 2 ‘kidnapped’ Chinese Pogo workers in Laguna
MANILA, Philippines — Police have rescued two Chinese nationals who were allegedly kidnapped by six suspects including the owner of a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (Pogo) company they were working for and some Chinese men in San Pedro, Laguna province.
Col. Rodolfo Castil Jr., officer-in-charge of the Philippine National Police-Anti-Kidnapping Group (PNP-AKG), in a press statement on Tuesday, identified the victims as Li Fei Yu and Long Yong Lin.
