The Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group (PNP-AKG), led by PBGEN GLICERIO C CANSILAO, Director, AKG, conducted a courtesy and coordination visit to the Embassy of India to the Philippines in DasmariΓ±as Village, Makati.
The AKG delegation was warmly received by His Excellency, Harsh Kumar Jain, Ambassador of India to the Republic of the Philippines, together with Mr. Nilesh Kumar Rai, First Secretary (Consular).
Also present during the visit were PCOL RENATO M MERCADO, Chief of Staff, AKG; PCOL TELESFORO DOMINGO III, Chief, OMD; PCOL NESTOR CUSI, Chief, IRAD; PLTCOL LESLIE M BEJARIN, Chief, IEFLD; PLTCOL MA. CARIZZA M MORALLOS, Chief, BFO; and PCPT RYAN ALBURO, Servicing Legal Officer.
The engagement focused on strengthening cooperation in addressing kidnapping-for-ransom (KFR) cases involving Indian nationals, enhancing information sharing, consular coordination, victim assistance, and collaborative efforts in the prevention of transnational crimes.
This visit underscores the shared commitment of the PNP-AKG and the Government of India to foster closer law enforcement cooperation, ensure the safety of foreign nationals, and uphold justice through coordinated international action.
Through sustained diplomatic and inter-agency collaboration, the PNP-AKG remains steadfast in its mission to protect lives, support victims, and combat kidnapping and other serious crimes.
