Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City – The Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group (PNP AKG), through its Luzon Field Unit (LFU) and personnel from IRAD and SOU successfully served the Warrants of Arrest to three Wanted Persons for the crime of Kidnapping for Ransom with Homicide and violation of the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016 (Republic Act 10883) for Ransom with Homicide under Art. 267 of the Revised Penal Code.

The service of warrants was conducted in the afternoon of February 6, 2026, in Cabuyao, Laguna. Arrested persons were identified as Angelo Macasero, also known as β€œDodoy”, 30 year old, male; Argie Ciasico Isagon, also known as β€œ2G”, 33 year old, male; and Christian Acosta, also known as β€œChan Chan”, 23 year old, male, all residents of Taguig City. Macasero and Isagon were listed as Rank No. 6 and No. 10 in the AKG Ten Most Wanted Person (TMWP), respectively.

The arrests were carried out by virtue of Warrants of Arrest issued by Hon. Kathleen Sala Aseron-Casimiro, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 100, Antipolo City, Rizal, under Criminal Case Nos. 25-90607 and 25-90608, both with no bail recommended.

As a background, the trio were involved in the kidnapping of a Chinese national, which occurred on November 4, 2024. The arrested wanted persons are currently under the custody of the AKG pending the return of the Warrants of Arrest to the issuing court.
