AKG Rescues Chinese Kidnap Victim in Pasay City
The PNP-AKG rescues 27-year-old Chinese national Sun Xiao Lin at the Atrium Hotel in Pasay City where he was kept by his kidnappers for almost 3 days. During the rescue operation conducted at about 11:30 PM of May 18, 2021, three suspected kidnappers were arrested.
The kidnappers were identified as Alvin Cardeño Israel, 36 years old,Filipino; Li Fei, 28 years old, and Ye Hong, 27 years old, both male and Chinese nationals. An inquest proceeding will be conducted at the Department of Justice against the suspects who are now temporarily under the custody of the PNP AKG.
As a background, the victim was kidnapped in the afternoon of May 16,2021 while on his way to the Lord’s Grace Medical and Industrial Clinic in Pasay City where he was scheduled to undergo RT-PCR test as a requirement for his job application in a POGO company. Later, the kidnappers demanded an undetermined amount of ransom from his cousin at around 3:00 PM of May 16, 2021. The victim’s family paid Php1,490,000.00 on the same date through online transaction, but the victim was not released after the payment. It was for this reason that his cousin reported the case to the AKG in the evening of May 17,2021.
Upon receipt of the complaint, an assessment team evaluated the report, thereafter, the Anti-Kidnapping Action Team was organized to map out plans for the rescue of the victim. The AKG’s organized AKAT went into action and successfully rescued the victim and arrested the three suspect.
PCOL RUDOLPH B DIMAS, the Acting Director of the AKG urges the public to report kidnapping incidents to AKG. He also encourages everyone to cooperate as witness so that the drive in anti-kidnaping campaign will became more effective until the conviction of the perpetrators..

Both hailed from Sitio Upper Cement, Barangay San Jose, Antipolo City and went into hiding in the Visayas after they mauled to death a certain @Kobe sometime in October 2020 at Barangay Dalid, Antipolo City. The brothers went into hiding to evade arrest but they are no match for the relentless efforts of the PNP AKG to track and account all wanted persons and put them behind bars.
Relatedly, Richard is under provisional liberty for a possession of Illegal drugs, a crime he committed in 2018.
