Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City β The Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group, successfully arrested a wanted person for the crime of Kidnapping for Ransom and Serious Illegal Detention during an operations conducted at about 6:00 PM on January 20, 2026, near Double Dragon Plaza Mall along Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard, Pasay City.
The arrested accused was identified as Danilo L. Abilong, male, married, born on January 1, 1975, and a resident of 52 E. Ilaya, Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
The arrest was effected by virtue of Warrants of Arrest issued by Hon. Welhilmina B. Go-Santiago, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court, Branch 14, Nasugbu, Batangas, for the crime of Kidnapping for Ransom and Serious Illegal Detention under Article 267 of the Revised Penal Code, docketed under Criminal Case Nos. N-26-6656, N-25-6657, and N-25-6658 dated January 15, 2026, with no bail recommended.
Investigation disclosed that the arrested wanted person was involved in a kidnapping incident on May 2, 2025, in Nasugbu, Batangas, victimizing four (4) individuals who are 2 Chinese nationals, 1 Korean national, and 1 Filipino.
