Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City β Operatives of the Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group (PNP AKG) successfully arrested a wanted person charged with Qualified Rape of a Minor during an intelligence-driven operations conducted late evening of March 1, 2026, in Lipa City, Batangas.
The arrested suspect was identified as Danny Dales y Sasil, 36 years old, married, construction worker, and a resident of Linamon, Lanao del Norte. Based on investigation, the suspect had been living separately from his legal spouse and was reportedly maintaining another domestic relationship from which he has a child.
The operations were carried out on March 1, 2026, at about 11:30 PM, in Barangay Kayumanggi, Lipa City, by personnel of AKG Mindanao Field Unit-Iligan Satellite Office (MFU-ISO) Tracker Team as the lead operating unit, in coordination with AKG Luzon Field Unit (LFU), Regional Tactical Operations Center of PRO 4A, and barangay officials and tanods of Barangay Kayumanggi.
The arrest was effected by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued on November 25, 2025 by Hon. Arassad M. Macumbal, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, 10th Judicial Region, Branch 2, Iligan City, Lanao del Norte for the crime of Qualified Rape of a Minor under Article 266-A in relation to Article 266-B, Paragraph 1 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by Republic Act 11648, docketed under Criminal Case No. 25-31947, with No Bail Recommended. The accused is currently under temporary detention at the AKG custodial facility pending the return of the warrant to the issuing court in Iligan City, Lanao del Norte.
