Demonstrating its commitment to disaster preparedness and public safety, personnel of the PNP Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) actively participated in the 1st Quarter 2026 National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED).
The activity was conducted under the leadership of PBGEN GLICERIO C CANSILAO, Director, Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG), in support of the government’s nationwide campaign to promote awareness and readiness in the event of a major earthquake.
During the drill, AKG personnel practiced the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure, followed by an organized evacuation and accountability check to ensure that all personnel understand the proper response during seismic emergencies.
Through regular participation in nationwide disaster drills, the PNP Anti-Kidnapping Group continues to strengthen its culture of preparedness, ensuring that its personnel remain ready to protect lives and assist communities during natural disasters.
