On May 4, 2026, at about 1:30 PM, operatives of the Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group – Visayas Field Unit (PNP-AKG VFU), through its Bohol Sub-Office, successfully arrested a wanted person for the crime of Frustrated Murder in Poblacion, Tubigon, Bohol.

The accused, identified as Darryl Sagolili Bagol, 36 years old, single, laborer, and a resident of Sitio Capitol, Poblacion, Sagbayan, Bohol, was apprehended by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest docketed under Criminal Case No. 31575 issued by Hon. Josephus Adel Baterna, Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 49, Tagbilaran City, Bohol, dated April 21, 2026.

“We remain relentless in our pursuit of justice. This arrest is a clear message that no offender can evade the law for long. The PNP-AKG will continue to intensify operations and strengthen coordination to ensure that all wanted persons are brought before the courts.” said PBGEN GLICERIO C CANSILAO, Director, AKG.

This operation sends a strong message: Walang ligtas sa batas ang kriminal.
