SAFETY. RESPONSIBILITY. READINESS.
On June 24, 2026, at 8:00 AM, the Basic Motorcycle Riding Safety Seminar officially commenced at the AKG Conference Room, Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City, with the active participation of AKG personnel from various offices and units.
The activity was spearheaded by PBGEN EDWIN C BALLES, Director, Anti-Kidnapping Group, who emphasized the importance of road safety, discipline, and responsible motorcycle operation as vital components of personnel welfare, operational readiness, and effective public service delivery. He likewise encouraged all participants to actively engage in the seminar and apply the knowledge gained in both operational duties and personal conduct.
PMAJ JOEY M ILAC of Highway Patrol Group (HPG), facilitated the seminar and provided in-depth discussions on motorcycle riding fundamentals, traffic laws and regulations, defensive riding techniques, hazard awareness, and accident prevention strategies.
This initiative fully supports the thrust of PGEN JOSE MELENCIO C NARTATEZ, Chief, PNP, toward building a disciplined, capable, and safety-conscious police force, anchored on professionalism, accountability, and continuous capability development, in line with the PNP Focus Agenda on personnel readiness, welfare, and operational excellence.
The Anti-Kidnapping Group reinforces its commitment to promoting a strong culture of road safety awareness, ensuring that all personnel are not only operationally prepared but also responsible and safety-oriented both on and off duty.
