The Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) formally concluded its Basic Motorcycle Riding Safety Seminar, marking another significant step in strengthening the operational readiness, safety awareness, and professional competence of its personnel.

The training program equipped the participants with valuable knowledge and practical skills in defensive riding, road safety, traffic law compliance, and proper motorcycle maintenance-key competencies that support safer operations and enhance the delivery of public service. While many participants had prior motorcycle riding experience, the seminar further strengthened their capabilities by reinforcing the importance of responsible, disciplined riding, and safety conscious riding practices.

The AKG extends its sincere appreciation to the Highway Patrol Group (HPG) for accommodating the Anti-Kidnapping Group, as well as to Quezon City Police District (QCPD) for providing the venue for the actual riding activity both which were instrumental to the successful conduct of the program. The AKG likewise recognizes PMAJ JOEY M ILAC and his team of the HPG, who served as the Subject Matter Expert and extended their invaluable support to the activity. Their expertise, dedication, and commitment to promoting road safety greatly significantly overall enriched the learning experience of all participants.

In his closing message, PBGEN EDWIN C BALLES, Acting Director, AKG, emphasized that safety is not merely a requirement but a professional responsibility that every police officer must uphold. He encouraged all graduates to apply the principles learned throughout the seminar and to continue demonstrating discipline, vigilance, and accountability both on and off the road.
