Strengthening community partnership and extending meaningful support to the youth, personnel of the Information, Education and Family Liaison Division (IEFLD) of the PNP Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) actively participated in a joint outreach program with the Yokohama Naka Lions Club of Japan on March 11, 2026, held at Gahak-Marulas Elementary School, Kawit, Cavite.
The activity was conducted under the leadership of PBGEN GLICERIO C CANSILAO, Director, Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG), and was led by PLTCOL DIANNE GRACE A AQUITANIA, Assistant Chief, IEFLD, under the supervision of PLTCOL LESLIE ANN M BEJARIN, C, IEFLD.
In support of the 2026 National Women’s Month Celebration, the outreach initiative aimed to provide assistance to students through the distribution of groceries and school supplies, while further strengthening engagement between the police organization and the community.
During the activity, IEFLD personnel assisted in the orderly distribution of essential items to students, ensuring that the beneficiaries received the support intended for them in an organized and efficient manner. The initiative also highlighted the importance of collaboration between the PNP and international civic organizations in uplifting communities and supporting the welfare of young learners.
Through activities like this, the PNP Anti-Kidnapping Group continues to demonstrate its commitment to service beyond law enforcement, fostering partnerships that empower communities and promote inclusive development.
As the nation celebrates National Women’s Month, AKG proudly supports initiatives that recognize the role of women in shaping stronger families, nurturing the youth, and building resilient communities.
