As part of the continuing commitment to institutional excellence, accountability, and organizational development, the Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group (PNP-AKG) welcomed the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Inspection and Assessment Team on June 4, 2026, at the AKG Headquarters, Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City.

The NAPOLCOM delegation, led by Mr. Carlito B. Dotimas, Police Inspector IV, NAPOLCOM Representative, was formally welcomed by PBGEN EDWIN C BALLES, Acting Director, AKG, together with the Command Group, Division Chiefs, Office Chiefs, Unit Chiefs, and AKG personnel.

The NAPOLCOM Inspection and Assessment is scheduled to be conducted from June 4–5 and June 9–11, 2026. The activity underscores NAPOLCOM’s vital role in promoting professionalism, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the Philippine National Police. More than a compliance mechanism, the inspection and assessment serve as a constructive platform to identify strengths, recognize best practices, address operational and administrative gaps, and recommend measures that will further enhance the capabilities of the Anti-Kidnapping Group in carrying out its mandate.

National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) reaffirmed its commitment to work hand in hand with the Anti-Kidnapping Group in advancing organizational effectiveness, strengthening accountability, and enhancing operational capabilities. The NAPOLCOM Inspection Team assured AKG personnel that the activity is not merely intended to evaluate compliance, but also to provide constructive guidance, technical assistance, and institutional support geared toward continuous improvement.
