The Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG), under the leadership of PBGEN EDWIN C BALLES, conducted a Pistol and Rifle Marksmanship Training at the PNP SAF Headquarters, Fort Sto. Domingo, Sta. Rosa, Laguna, on June 24, 2026 at 8:00 AM.

The activity was personally spearheaded by the Director, AKG together with the Command Group, Division Chiefs, and AKG personnel, as part of the unit’s continuing efforts to enhance firearms proficiency, reinforce operational preparedness, and ensure the highest level of mission effectiveness.

This training underscores the unwavering commitment of the AKG to the thrust of PGEN JOSE MELENCIO C NARTATEZ, Chief, PNP of building a highly capable, disciplined, and mission-ready police force, while supporting the PNP Focus Agenda on personnel capability enhancement, operational excellence, and public safety.

By continuously enhancing the marksmanship capabilities of its personnel, the AKG ensures that its operatives remain competent, confident, and fully prepared to effectively respond to emerging threats and perform their mandate with professionalism and precision.

Through sustained training and comprehensive skills development programs, the AKG remains steadfast in its pursuit of operational readiness and organizational excellence, in line with the PNP’s commitment to fostering a safer and more secure environment for all Filipinos.
