Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City – On July 2, 2026, at about 11:30 AM, a coordination meeting was successfully conducted between the officers of the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) and the leadership of the Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) at Greenhills, San Juan, Metro Manila.

The meeting was spearheaded by PBGEN EDWIN C BALLES, Acting Director, AKG, together with PCOL ALVIN R CONSOLACION, Deputy Director for Administration (DDA); PCOL RENATO C MERCADO, Deputy Director for Operations (DDO); PCOL JEFF E FANGED, Chief of Staff (CS); and the Chiefs of IRAD, OMD, IEFLD, and SLO.

The activity served as a platform to strengthen cooperation and foster closer coordination between the AKG and FFCCCII in support of public safety, crime prevention, and the protection of communities and business sectors against kidnapping and other related criminal activities.

PBGEN BALLES emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration, stating, “Our partnership with FFCCCII plays key role in enhancing our collective efforts to combat kidnapping and safeguard our communities through continuous coordination and information sharing, we can protect lives and maintain public trust.”

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining open communication and collaborative engagement to further enhance security measures and promote a safer environment for all.
