Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City β The Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group (PNP AKG) has scored another significant breakthrough in its intensified campaign against kidnapping syndicates with the arrest of two additional suspects involved in the Kidnap-for-Ransom and Serious Illegal Detention case of an Indian national who was forcibly abducted from his residence in Taytay, Rizal on February 8, 2026.
Previously, accused Gurpreet Singh Gill a.k.a βGuruβ and Imee Isip Verdadero were apprehended through inquest proceedings on February 10, 2026. Both remain under the custody of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in Cainta, Rizal while awaiting further court proceedings.
Through sustained intelligence gathering, case buildup, and comprehensive investigation, the Anti-Kidnapping Group subsequently filed separate criminal complaints on April 17, 2026 against the remaining suspects identified as Gabriel C. Esguerra, Vladimir A. Binayug a.k.a βVlad,β Orlino F. Culili, Jr. a.k.a βJune,β Rojie Binayug Ravanilla, and several unidentified accomplices.
In a Joint Resolution dated June 25, 2026, the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor of Rizal found probable cause and formally indicted all respondents for the crime of Kidnapping for Ransom. Acting on the findings, the Regional Trial Court, Branch 142, Cainta, Rizal, presided over by Hon. Mario Pocholo M. Telan, issued Warrants of Arrest against the accused on July 1, 2026.
Pursuant to the court-issued warrants, AKG operatives successfully arrested VLADIMIR ARCANIA BINAYUG a.k.a. βVLADβ on July 4, 2026 in Sariaya, Quezon Province. A follow-up law enforcement operation conducted the following day which resulted in the arrest of ORLINO FAVOR CULILI JR a.k.a. βJUNEβ.
