The Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group (PNP AKG) arrested a 22-year-old man, a resident of Dangcagan, Bukidnon, who worked as a laborer due to a Statutory Rape case in an operation conducted on November 3, 2026, at around 9:00 am in Barangay Dolorosa, Dangcagan, Bukidnon.

The intelligence-driven police operation by the AKG-Mindanao Field Unit (AKG-MFU), Iligan Satellite Office, resulted in the arrest of the accused under a Warrant of Arrest issued on October 29, 2026 by the Regional Trial Court, 10th Judicial Region, Branch 45, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. The case is registered under Criminal Case No. 49694-26, and no bail was ordered.

The accused is currently in the custody of the said unit while the appropriate process for returning the Warrant of Arrest to the court that issued it is being carried out.

“The AKG continues to conduct intelligence-driven operations to locate wanted persons and bring to justice those who violate the law, as well as to provide justice to victims of violence, especially children who are unable to defend themselves,” said PBGEN EDWIN C BALLES, Director, AKG.
